1. The 5052 aluminum plate workpiece is deformed due to clamping during processing, which is unavoidable even in precision machining. In order to minimize the deformation of the workpiece, the previous finish will reach the final size, release the pressing part, let the workpiece return freely to the initial state, then press it lightly just to clamp the workpiece (completely by hand), to obtain the ideal handling Effect. In summary, the clamping force is preferably applied to the support surface. The clamping force should act in the direction of good rigidity of the workpiece. On the premise of ensuring that the workpiece is not loose, the smaller the clamping force, the better.
2. When dealing with parts in the cavity, try not to let the milling cutter drill directly into the part. As a result, the milling cutter has insufficient chip space and the chips are not discharged smoothly, resulting in local overheating, expansion and knife breakage, knife and other undesirable phenomena. Drill holes with a milling cutter of the same size or larger, then mill with a milling cutter. Alternatively, CAM software can be used to make helical cutter programs.
3. Reduce cutting force and cutting heat by changing cutting parameters. Among the three main cutting parameters, the reverse draft has a great influence on the cutting force. If the machining allowance is too large and the cutting force is too large, it will not only deform the part, it will also affect the rigidity of the machine tool spindle and reduce the durability of the tool. If the amount of tool retraction is reduced, the production efficiency will be greatly reduced. However, high-speed milling in CNC machining can overcome this problem. At the same time, as long as the feed rate is increased accordingly, the speed of the machine tool will be increased, the cutting force can be reduced, and the processing efficiency of 5052 aluminum plate can be guaranteed at the same time.
