Speaking of 1 series aluminum plate, many users are familiar with 1050 aluminum plate and 1060 aluminum plate, but they don't know much about the difference between the two. Let's talk about the difference between 1050 aluminum plate and 1060 aluminum plate. ?
In fact, these two specifications of aluminum plates are a series of aluminum plates, but the aluminum content is different. The aluminum content of 1050 aluminum plate is 99.50%, and the aluminum content of 1060 aluminum plate is 99.60%. You can see the last two digits. Relatively speaking, the higher the aluminum content, the softer the material, but the two are not much different. Neither can be heat treated to strengthen. 1060 aluminum plate is suitable for stretching and other products.
Aluminum and its alloys will oxidize in the air, and the oxide film naturally formed on the surface of aluminum is amorphous, which will make the surface of aluminum metal lose its original luster, although this layer of natural oxide film will slightly passivate the surface of aluminum metal. However, it is very thin, about 4-5nm, and has large porosity and poor mechanical properties. It cannot effectively prevent the further corrosion of aluminum metal by various media in the atmosphere. After anodizing, the surface of aluminum and its alloys can obtain a dense film layer (from tens of microns or even hundreds of microns) that is much thicker than the natural oxide film. This artificial oxide film is then sealed, the amorphous oxide film is transformed into a crystalline oxide film, and the pores are also closed, so that the gloss of the metal surface can remain unchanged for a long time, and the corrosion resistance and mechanical strength are improved. A decorative appearance can also be obtained by dyeing. Since aluminum and its alloy products have many characteristics after anodization, the aluminum anodization process is widely used in the surface treatment of aluminum products.
The above is the difference between 1050 aluminum plate and 1060 aluminum plate. I believe you have a lot of understanding of aluminum after reading it!
